“She was everywhere tonight” Lapwai coach Eric Spencer said of Mitchell rare accomplishment, a prime example how versatile Amil can be on a nightly basis.

Bigger guard at 5’8″, she has the size and athleticism to play multiple positions on both ends. With the departure of Koyama Young, Iris Domebo and several others, Mitchell has led a depleted Lapwai team 10-2 (5-1 Pine) into action this season.

Amil Mitchell is a unsigned senior for Lapwai High School, who’s flying under the radar due to a loaded Lapwai roster over the years. Wildcats have won three Idaho State Championships in a row. Carrying the load for the first time, she is proving to be a great floor leader for the Wildcats.
