Bonita Vista High School senior Shyla LaTone (Zuni Pueblo) set a new San Diego Section single-game scoring record by dropping in 76 points in Friday’s 99-26 Mesa League victory at Hilltop.
Shyla has now reached 2,500 points in her high school career at Bonita Vista HS in Chula Vista, California. The senior point guard is averaging 39 points per game this season.
