Jacqulynn Nakai making history
PHOENIX, AZ – Jacqulynn “JJ” Nakai is making history at Pima Community College, becoming the first Pima women’s basketball player to be selected to the 2018 WBCA Two-Year College Coaches’ All-American list.
She was also named ACCAC Division II Player of the Year as well as first team All-ACCAC and first team All-Region I, Division II.
Jacqulynn Nakai averaged 17.3 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 6.7 assists in her freshman year at Pima Community College in Tucson, Arizona.
After the successful season Nakai was selected to play in the Juco Top 40 All-Star Game in Atlanta playing in front of a number of colleges.
Her 4-year college decision will wait another year. She will suit up for the Aztecs for her much anticipated sophomore season.
