Banner Scores in double-digits for the third consecutive game

NASHVILLE, TENN. – The Tennessee State University women’s basketball team dropped a hard-fought contest to Tennessee Tech, 76-65, on the road Wednesday night in Eblen Center.

Freshman point guard Terrysha Banner had 12 points and made three triples in the game. Helping TSU shoot a season-best 45.5 percent from three-point range.

After getting off to a slow start, TSU fell behind by 20 points before clawing back to within single digits. The Lady Tigers, however, couldn’t get over the hump and eventually ran out of time.

Terrysha Banner scored in double-digits for the third consecutive game. In her previous two appearances for Tennessee State, she’s averaging 14.5 points, 2 assists and steal off the bench.
