Dakota Wesleyan University commit finding Success at Rapid City Stevens

RAPID CITY, SD – Dylan Pourier the Dakota Wesleyan University commit is having a spectacular senior season under Rapid City Stevens Chris Stoebner. He had his coming out party last year in Sioux Falls at the South Dakota State AA tournament when the Douglas Patriots finished in fifth place.

Since then, he has transferred to Rapid City Stevens. “Transferring, there’s been a lot of talk why I did it, but honestly, it was 100% selfish; I wanted to do the best for me, I wanted to make sure I was put in the right position to play college basketball.”

Pourier appreciates where he was raised and the things that were done for him: “Coach Miller, (Travis Miller, head coach at Douglas) ever since Seventh Grade, was raising me to be a basketball player for him. I owe a lot to him.”
