Lewis-Clark Warriors add Dedrick Pakootas for the 2019-20 season
Lewis-Clark Warriors head men’s basketball coach Austin Johnson announced the signing of transfer student-athlete Dedrick Pakootas for the 2019-20 season.
Pakootas, a 6-0 guard from Spokane, Wash., helped Spokane CC to a 44-19 record during his two seasons as a Sasquatch. He averaged 14.7 points per game and made an outstanding 163 3-pointers while shooting 40.2 percent from beyond the arc. During his freshman season, Spokane CC made the NWAC Elite Eight. He capped his tenure with a trip to the NWAC Final Four with Spokane CC in 2018-19.
“Dedrick is another in a long line of Spokane CC guys coached by Jeremy Groth making their way to LC,” Johnson said. “He is a high-level shooter and proved to be one of the more consistent shooters in the NWAC. He’s a smart player that knows how to play with and without the ball. We anticipate his game making strides as he gets stronger.”
