KAMAKA HEPA: UP NEXT OREGON

Kamaka Hepa (Inupiaq) Jefferson High School (OR) originally from Barrow, Alaska. Hepa at 6’9″ has circulated buzz around himself with his unique skill set with a shooting touch that extends well beyond the 3 point line. Kamaka was a big time prospect in Alaska but has since caught national attention since making the move to Portland, Oregon. Not known for being Native American Hepa made his debut in Indian Country recently playing for Team Alaska in the annual Native American Basketball Invitational held in Arizona. Hepa has been rated as high as the No. 29th player in the country for the class of 2018. Hepa grew up in a small town in Barrow, Alaska where he played his first two years of high school basketball. While in Alaska he took home just about every award, as a junior Hepa has accomplished more then most could dream being named State Gatorade Player of the Year twice. The big man has interest from Texas, Stanford, Arizona, Gonzaga, Washington, Oklahoma, Oregon and Oregon State just to name a few.

We look forward to following his storybook basketball career.
