Little man with BIG game

Yakima, Wash. – Bryan Strom Jr. may not be the tallest but he’s always one of the best on the floor. Standing 5’7″ maybe 5’8″ on a good day,  He’s tough as nails and seems to never back down on the court. Bryan caught our last year with his hair but his dreads are long gone now.

Despite a smaller frame, Strom will challenge anyone. Through 11 games, the sophomore  has scored 216 points with a season high of 31 points. He’s proven he can score the ball in a variety of different ways. He shoots from deep and can finish, draw contact, and find the open teammates. Not saying he’s the complete package but he has game.

Sophomore guard Bryan Strom has Yakima Nation Tribal School off to a hot 9-2 (1-1) start which includes a big win over Lapwai High School. Averaging nearly 20 points per game in his 3rd year of varsity hoops for the Eagles. Bryan has stepped out of the shadows of older brother, and senior team captain, Isiah Strom and is making a name for himself.

Bryan is one three brothers on the team with his twin Bryce and older brother Isiah. Eagles roster also includes cousin Justin Strom. All are talented, fast, quick which makes for a fun style of play.

So far this season, Bryan Strom’s mix of shooting ability, ball handling, and fearlessness are making him a must watch on every night. Go check him and the Yakama Nation Eagles. Next Game @ Lyle/Wishram
