Adiya Jones-Smith (Tulalip) 18 points and 12 rebounds leads the second half charge

The Lady Cardinals began league play with a big win over the Olympic College Rangers 4-9 (1-1).  Down 22-17 at the half Skagit 6-10 (1-1) stormed out of the locker room with a decisive third quarter outscoring the Lady Rangers 29 -15.

Adiya Jones-Smith (Tulalip) 18 points and 12 rebounds led the second half charge with Emily Pillman 13 and Nani Gardner 10 points.  Outstanding team defensive helped to control the outside shooting and inside post play of Olympic.

Skagit Valley will next host Bellevue in their second league game.
