Wheeler & Co. Down Salish Kootenai to Improve to 3-1 on the Season

PORTLAND – The Multnomah University women’s basketball team picked up their second straight win on Friday, defeating Salish Kootenai College on Jim Skagen Court.

The Lions took an early lead in the contest and never relinquished it, shooting 49 percent on the night,

MU took a 43-19 lead into the halftime break, outscoring the Bison 17-8 in the second quarter.

Multnomah was led by Sequoia Wheeler added 10 points, dished out eight assists and grabbed three rebounds.

Braylee Stone added 9 points and nine rebounds for the Bison.
