Sequoia Wheeler and Lions Stumble against Warner Pacific

PORTLAND, OR – Scoring struggles hurt the Lions on Tuesday as the women’s basketball team dropped an 81-51 road contest against Warner Pacific.

Sequoia Wheeler led the Lions with 19 points and three steals on 6-of-15 shooting from the field.

Lions struggled to find the basket all night. Warner shot 42 percent from the field while MU finished the game shooting 33 percent. The Lions move to (9-11, 5-7 CCC) this season.

Multnomah will take the weekend off before returning to action next week as they travel to Southern Oregon on Friday, January 25.
