RaeQuan Battle records Career-High in loss to Arizona
Arizona Wildcats held off Washington Huskies for a 75-72 win on Thursday night. Baker made his fourth 3-pointer with 42 seconds remaining to give Arizona the lead.
Local product and Tulalip Tribal member, RaeQuan Battle led Washington (12-10, 2-7) with career-high 14 points off the bench and his 3-pointer with 1:42 remaining gave Washington a 72-70 lead. It was the Huskies only made basket during the closing stretch.
Freshman RaeQuan Battle set a career-high with 14 points against Arizona in just 15 minutes of game action … he also tied his career-high with four made from long distance. Battle has hit eight from 3-point range in the last two games and is averaging 10 points over the last five outings.
UW continues it’s week against the Arizona schools in the friendly confines of Alaska Airlines Arena as it faces Arizona State on Saturday, Feb. 1 at 7:30 p.m.
