Trevon Allen moves to 14th Place on Vandals All-Time scoring list

The Idaho men’s basketball team took down Sacramento State, 67-53, on Monday evening on the road. The Vandals (6-15, 2-8 BSC) led wire-to-wire, handing the Hornets (11-9, 4-7 BSC) their second-straight home loss.

Trevon Allen opened the scoring at The Nest, and went on to score the first seven points for the Vandals. A jumper by the senior gave the visitors a 4-2 lead with 16:53 to play in the first, and Idaho led the rest of the game.

Allen scored 19 first half points to lead all scorers. He finished the night with 27 points and eight rebounds. He has also surpassed 20 points in eight of the last nine games.

Allen now has 1133 career points, which moves him into 14th place on the Vandals’ All-Time Scoring List, passing Deon Watson. He needs just four more points to move into a tie for 13th place.
