Player Spotlight: Lapwai Wildcats Glory Sobotta (2021)

Today’s Player Spotlight goes to senior guard, Glory Sobotta, from Lapwai High School in Lapwai, ID. As a junior she led Lapwai to a 25-1 record and Idaho State Championship. She was named 1st team All-Whitepine for her performance during the regular season and took 2nd team All-State during the Championship run.

Lapwai has a long history of talented basketball players, and Glory Sobotta is next up on the list. The 5’7″ point guard has earned Whitepine 1st-team honors in each of her first three seasons with the Wildcats, while leading them to deep State playoff runs.

In addition to being a great athlete, Glory is a honor roll student in the classroom. We know how college coaches love student-athletes. You won’t find her on any ranking list but she can match-up with anyone of those players.
