Grace White Helps Pioneers Dominate In Exhibition

DENVER – The University of Denver women’s basketball team used a well-rounded performance to down Taylor University 106-66 on Saturday night at Hamilton Gymnasium. Nine of the 10 Pioneer’s to see action in the game recorded at least one basket with four players reaching double figures.

DU used a dominant second-half effort to put this one away, outscoring the Trojans 57-31 in the final 20 minutes.

Grace White finished the contest with 9 points on 2-6 shooting while adding 13 rebounds and three assists.

The Crimson and Gold kicked things into gear, ripping off an 11-2 run and increasing the lead back to double digits with 5:14 to play.

The teams traded baskets over the final minutes of play as Denver eclipsed the century mark with just over one minute to play in the game.

UP NEXT: The Pioneers open the 2018-19 regular season on Friday, November 9 at 7 p.m. when the University of Missouri Kansas City comes to Denver.
