Record Breaking career for Northwest University’s Mariah Stacona
Mariah Stacona left her mark in the history books for Northwest University womens basketball. The senior guard from Madras, OR, broke several school records (Free Throw Percentage & turnover ratio) as well as finishing among the top top in several others (Steals, Assists, 3-Pointers, and Turnover Ratio).
Stacona was also named honorable mention after averaging 10.5 points, 3.0 steals, and finished with 1140 career points. The year before Stacona on the All-CCC first team as she led the CCC and nation in steals and steals per game the entire year, averaging 4.00 steals and totaling 116 takeaways.
