Jineane Cummings signs with Arizona JUCO South Mountain C.C.
South Mountain Community College women’s basketball head coach Byron Jackson announced the addition of Jineane Cummings. The 5-foot-5 combo guard from Holbrook, Arizona is a high IQ guard with nice handles, who does a great job of creating for herself and others. She plays hard, she’s competitive and she gets the players around her better.
Cummings averaged 7.1 points, 1.2 assists, 1 rebounds while helping Holbrook High School to a 13-5 record in a short covid season. While the stats don’t look spectacular, Jineane is highly skilled and efficient on both ends of the court, and shouldn’t have a problem adjusting to the collegiate level and speed.
