Trazil Lane (Lummi Nation) 32 points and 10 rebounds enough to beat #2 Trojans

Everett, Wash. – After trailing by 14 points at halftime, the Orcas used a strong defensive effort in the second half to defeat the #2 ranked Everett CC Trojans.

Freshman Trazil Lane (Lummi Nation) led all scorers with 32 points and 10 rebounds. Whatcom used a combination of hot shooting and strong defense in the second half to secure the comeback victory. Markieth Brown (Spokane Tribe) led Everett Trojans with 23 points, 5 assists, and 4 rebounds.

Whatcom Men’s Basketball team will travel south this weekend to face Shoreline Community College at 4:00 pm. Trojans travel to Port Angeles to take on Peninsula College.
